Today on December,15,2025(Monday), the Ladakh Buddhist Association formally welcome the
newly unanimously elected President, Zanskar Buddhist Association Shri Tsering Dorjay and their
new executive member in the office of the Ladakh Buddhist Association with traditional khataks. On
this occasion, the Ladakh Buddhist Association also welcome Shri Stanzin Motup as the new Vice
President of the Ladakh Buddhist from Zanskar for the rest of the tenure of the existing Ladakh
Buddhist Association tenure after the expiry of the tenure of Ms Kunzes Dolma as the Vice President
who represented Kargil branch of the Ladakh Buddhist Associaton. As per the constitution of the LBA
Article 8 para (b) the post of the vice president of the LBA is to be served on rotational basis
between Zanskar and other Buddhist residing in other parts of Kargil district called the Kargil branch
of the LBA.On this occasion the President of the youth and women wing of the LBA and their
executive members were also present.
